Kitty Corner – The Little Black Dress Event

by Kat

On last week’s podcast we had the pleasure of chatting with Veronica Gracia-Wing about Luke Anthony Photography’s Little Black Dress Exhibit and Fundraiser later that evening – and then I had the pleasure of attending the event – in my very own Little Black Dress!

See? Look how much fun I’m having! (It was cold and Daniel J. Hogan was making me laugh.)

The even was (in my opinion) a great success. There was a big crowd, yummy champagne punch, music by the very talented iZwicky, and lots of money raised for the very worthy Oldham Project.  All that, and these shoes:

and this pretty hair thingie:

And this dress – which I think I was asked a million times if it was vintage (shhhh…it’s not!)

All in all, a great night! It was so cool to see all the images of beautiful Lansing women in the historic Temple Building,  hear the moving words about what the Oldham Project has meant to people…and to see a pictures of yourself auctioned off for (lots) of money! A big thanks to Luke and Veronica for all they did – can’t wait to see what comes next!

Guess what :D I was this *—-* close to ask if your dress was vintaga! It is just perfect, for either vintage or modern style. I love the white lace detail on the neckline, perhaps that is the reason why it looks so vintagy. You look very cute and fresh in this style!
