First segment (00:00 – 13:02):
Daniel finally gets the episode number correct, and keeps going on and on about taking part in the Hawk Island Triathlon. But, he’s dedicated. He even bested a flooded River Trail to continue his bike training.
Meanwhile, Kat’s chihuahua, Ollie, is an “escape artist”–which leads to hilarious results. And ruined carpet.
Second segment (13:25 – 22:59):
Shannon Rolley, from the Old Town Commercial Association, shares the scoop on Old Town winning a Great American Main Street Award.
Plus, she talks about upcoming events in Old Town (they have 74 events a year!), such as next weekend’s Chalk of the Town (June 4th)–which is also the same day as Be a Tourist in Your Own Town and the Board of Water and Light Chili Cook Off.
Third segment (23:00 – 38:19):
Like kittens? Then this is the segment for you! Melissa Stewart Kwiatkowski talks about fostering kittens for the Capital Area Humane Society. She looks after them until they are big enough to be adopted. Her current bundles of joy are Dean, Hank, and Rusty. They may be available for adoption by this weekend.
