First segment (00:00 – 08:33):

A terrible pun about a dog as a podcaster.

Yet another entry into Daniel J. Hogan's outstanding oeuvre.

Kat brought her favorite little doggy, Ollie, with her to the studio at the Lansing Public Media Center. Ain’t he cute? Daniel got confused when he stopped to buy gas and it was not self-serve. Crazy! Daniel also, apparently, knows nothing about jazz–except for the Transformers character. And this Simpsons joke.

Second segment (08:56 – 20:37):

Julie Mann from the Rockstar Factory returns to chat about her new talk show on the Michigan Business Network, and discusses social media in the work place.

Third segment (20:38 – 35:50):

Whitney Spotts from Schuler Books is back with a list of awesome upcoming events at the Lansing area book stores, including next week’s Booktoberfest, and the Smart Chicks Kick It Tour (“a sole Michigan appearance celebrating young adult fiction and amazing female authors!”). Featured on the Smart Chicks Tour are: Kelly Armstrong, Melissa Marr, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Rachel Caine, Melissa De La Cruz, Simone Elkeles and Carrie Ryan. Tickets are required, so call 517.316.7495 ASAP.

Fourth segment (35:51 – 47:27):

Bugsy Sailor comes forth to spread tales of plaid and to share the love which is next week’s Plaidurday. Wear plaid. Celebrate plaid. Do what you will, just do it with plaid. Also, hockey is discussed and Kat learns she needs to keep her stick on the ice.

Fifth segment (47:28 – 59:50):

Events! Plus, Daniel really enjoyed the film Drive.

In addition to New Jersey, it is also illegal to pump your own gas in Oregon. When I was road tripping out there I needed gas as I was rolling into Oregon. So I pull up to a gas station and start pumping my own gas. Out of nowhere this guy appears yelling at me saying I can’t do that! But now I know.

Crazy! What if’n I want to pump my own gas? Stop telling me what I can and can’t do, Big Gas!
