Kitty Corner – Thrift Crawl Wrap Up!

As much as I love shopping for myself, my favorite part of the Thrift Crawl is finding things for others, and seeing their awesome finds! And did we have some awesome finds this year! Finds like these lovely red wedges I bought at the Volunteers of America on South Cedar:

I know it’s tough to belive, but I didn’t have red shoes!

And these suh-weet green shorts Will picked up there (and then rocked at Vacant II) as well:

I REALLY wanted this vintage Jacobson’s suit with tags still attached to fit – alas, it would have needed too much work:

And I plucked this silk dupioini off the racks at the NEW St. Vincent DePaul’s locationon South Cedar with Crystal in mind:

Sometimes all a thrift find needs is a tiny tweak to be perfect – like taking this pretty dress up just a bit for Abigail:

All in all, it was a wonderful day! It was great to make new thrifting friends and introduce a few newbies to the mix! I think the biggest surprise for many of our thrifters was the amazing selection at Kellie’s Consignments in Okemos. Thanks so much to everyone who came out!
